  18. I use O2 on everything, including mft.  But gcc uses over 100MB (I
  19. don't remember the exact amount, but the total memory usage on my
  20. machine was over 150MB during the compilation), and the compilation
  21. time was 1 hour (my machine is a Sun IPX).

  30. It works fine (disregarding time and memory usage) for me under SunOS
  31. 4.1.3.  Are you sure you have enough memory/swap space in your machine?
